What items do you buy that are generic?
What items do you NEVER budge on buying generic? People will forget what you said People will forget what you did But people will never forget how you made them feel. - Maya Angelou |

I buy almost *everything* generic, or store brand. The only thing I really won't, is Tuna. Maybe there are other things, but not that I can think of off the top of my head....

We buy almost NOTHING generic. On rare occasion I have bought generic pasta, because frankly, unless it is fresh made from scratch, boxed pasta is boxed pasta--doesn't matter what brand it is. So if there is no fusili in the brand I usually buy, I have no issue with grabbing a lesser brand or generic of the same.
I would never budge on items like makeup, most food items, toilet paper, paper towels, kid's clothes (clothe sin general really), cleaners, washing detergent... Ah heck, let's face it, I will never be a generic shopper ![]() |

LOL. That is one of the things that I FOR SURE buy generic. Carnation used to make a wonderful Tuna that I got at Costco. They quit selling it so I went to another store. They quit selling it so I had to try and find a new brand. Well lo and behold the best canned Tuna out there is Alberston's brand Tuna. Name brands are all mushy but the Albertson's brand is a huge chunk of Tuna. I don't buy generic cereals because the name brands usually go on sale for the same price or less. I do buy generic medicines, my insurance requires it. Many of my home products I don't buy generic because I buy a specific brand of Environmentally safe products. Snow Patrol |

I buy almost everything generic, unless one of the brand names is actually a better deal. I don't care much for generic toilet paper and buy brand name if I can.

We never buy generic. The quality is just not good.
The Coverdale Psalter Psalm 19 Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Use it up. Wear it out. Make it do, Or do without. "Make him lasagna and he will never leave you." |

Most things are generic around here. I do buy S.O.S pads rather than Brillo. S.O.S. doesnt rust up as fast. I drink generic Dr Pepper, but I dont think it tastes right. LOL I find most Walmart/Sam's Choice items to be of good quality.
