Pastor photographs porn shop customers' cars

A Texas minister is compiling a list of all the porn shop customers in his town, before contacting them and asking them to attend church.

Pastor Jim Norwood of the Oakcrest Family Church says he photographs the customers' cars outside the XXX-store in Kennedale, and sends them the picture with a note.

The notes, which include a timetable of church services and classes on sex addictions, read: "Observed you in the neighbourhood. Didn't know if you were aware there is a church in the area. Please stop by next time. We'd love to have you visit."

Norwood, who also runs a florists, says he knows "first hand" what pornography can lead to, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Personally, I would be pissed, and I would have no problem letting him know I was.

Our anti abortion protesters do the same thing at the clinic except they post the person's name and address on the internet. Thing is when I go to the hospital next door I ALWAYS park at the clinic because their lot is free. And because I'm personally hoping one of them will approach me and I'll knock them the F out.

The pastor knows FIRST HAND what porn can lead to?

Way too many jokes here....way way way...

Wouldn't bug me. If I'm willing to go to a Porn Palace I should be willing to live with the consequence of someone spotting me going in.

It's a pubic place afterall. Oooops freuding slip... Make that public.

KL, I don't care who sees me go into a porn store (and yes I have been there before) It's the fact that someone sees me going in, judges me to be some kind of pervert in desperate need of God, so he photographs my car and starts bugging me to come to his church to be saved before I am doomed to either a sexual addiction or hell. That seems almost stalking IMO

If I received something like that from a local church, I'd probably tell the minister that if he actually got laid once in a while or visited a porn shop, he may be less uptight. Or something about all the prayers in the world won't make up for him STILL not getting any. Or something.

I really hate it when people try to push their religious beliefs off on me, particularly when I am NOT interested and have never made any indication that I would be interested.

It's definately not a good way to bring people to the church, and is more likely to just piss people off!

I would laugh at the man. Personally, I would think he'd have more important things to be doing than watching me or anyone else visit a porn store LoL
