I've gotten a few PMs asking about the other thread so I decided to do another one only just a little different :)

Threated unfairly? Not necessarily. I was banned from one board after I had already left the community to cut down on computer time.

I left a community known for being brutal in protest to the way certain members were treated and certain things that were happening there. I didn't like ther person *I* was there. I will never go back. I don't even lurk.

I've been treated unfairly at many boards and banned from another.

Doesn't bother me though, I love to be hated. :fork_off:

The sad thing is Clio admin at the board in question knew you had done nothing wrong. The IPs were not a match and I know that for a fact!

Yes, I have had a few bad experiences with administrators at other boards.

I have never been banned.

And I have left boards and not returned. There are a few that I return to every once and awhile. I look around and then realize why I left, get bored, and just never return again. Not interesting anymore.

I've never been banned but I've left 2 message boards, one because the members were asshats for the most and I didn't like the cruel ways of their board and the way they treated the majority of their posters. The other was a board I'd been at for years and years and it was hard to leave but I felt it was getting way too clique-y and I'd had enough. I feel quite at home here. :)

Oh, I did come kind of sort of close once when I told a poster what I thought of her in an e-mail, and she brought it back to the boards, but since it wasn't in the TOS not to e-mail those kinds of "thoughts", I wasn't banned LOL

Have you ever left on your own never to return? Once but that was because the playgroup I belong to made up their own board to post at

Banned?? um.. yeah. Sybermoms, IncitefulMamas, MomsWhoThink, MilitantBreastfeedingCult, and Java Jane.

Of those, I think that MWT was by far the worst... the board admin deliberately invited certain others to the board to bait me, and even though I NEVER violated TOS or rose to the baiting, I was still banned. Ah, whatever.

Left a board by choice? yep, a couple of them... one I outgrew, and the other I just wasn't interested anymore.

Goodbye posts? I don't think so... they tend to be lame.

I was banned several times back in the day when CNN had its own message boards. I got banned from there all the time but they would let me back in with a new user name.

I've never been treated unfairly at a message board. I'm not usually active enough or even noticed enough to be treated one way or another. I have seen a lot of unfair treatment toward others at another message board.

I've never been banned. I've composed quite a number of bannable posts, but never actually posted them. LOL

It has to do with the fact that the sites are polar opposites of each other.... we have bashed what this site stands for so much, they don't even want us to come and talk to them anymore..... :troll:

No, I don't feel I was ever treated unfairly at another board, but I know other who were and I left b/c of it. Yes, I have been banned, from one board. I have also left a couple of boards of my own accord, and I haven't gone back yet. But, never say never right?
