Here’s the scenario.
A young woman comes into the ER unconscious and 19 weeks pg with her first child. She under goes some testing and the Dr’s find that she has a cancerous mass in her abdomen as well as on her kidney. The can do surgery but the type of further treatment she will need can not be done while pg. Her mother died a few years ago from an aggressive type cancer as well as a few of her aunts.
They give her two options the first being she can have the surgery now and the further treatment can be postponed for about 2-4 weeks so that the baby can reach an age of viability and it can be taken by C-section at the time.
2nd option is to terminate the pg so that she can begin treatment immediately.
You are either the woman or her husband.
