I love that the government gives you a tax credit when you adopt...but the one catch is that you can't file your taxes right away since they have not approved the form yet.....

:( those fuckers. And here we were thinking about adopting a little girl while we are here becuase it is so much easier but we are worried about all the hoops we will have to jump through. Grrrrrrr

I think that it is quote funny that they set a deadline on the time that you can file your taxes, but then they dont get all the forms out right away. I think I might charge them interest on the time that we have to wait to get our refund back.

Adoption is not all as scary as somepeople think. If you have a good social worker and a good company that you are going thru, it has a very rewarding outcome!
