Nah. Of course I RARELY give out my real name so, it's pretty hard for them to do that.

I do however dislike it when people use real names for other people. Because when I respond to "paul" and there are no other references to "paul" in the thread people have no idea who I am talking to.

I frequent one board where they all use real names and I have no idea who they are responding to, because I don't know their real names. I say policy should be...no real names unless the person uses it in every post.

No, but like kinglozer said, it's not something I just give out anyway. If someone knows it and uses it though, it does not bother me.

The only time it botheres me is if they do it in an "outting" fashion. Other than that I don't care all that much.

The only people who use my real name on boards are people I'm pretty good friends with.

However, if it happened with someone I only consider an acquaintence, I wouldn't really mind. I've given out my name and I should expect that it might be used. I might think it a bit weird, but I don't really mind.


Kinglozer has a point, though. I often don't know who's being refered to if real names are used and there is no other indication in the post as to whom it is addressed.

I don't care who knows my name or uses it, it is hard for someone NOT TO know who am I with my past, LMAO. But I would respect anyone elses wishes if thye didn't want thier first namse used.

I genarally use user names of who I'm replying too. I don't mind if people use my username or real name . If someone has their real name in their siggy I assume they wished to be called that rather than their username , or atleast do not mind being called that.

I'm one of those that don't care if you use my name of my sn. When I have my siggy pic up, it has my name on it, so obviously I'm not stressed to much by it. LOL But I also believe that you should respect others and just because you may know thier real name, if they don't openly share it or use it then you shouldn't either. That's just rude.
