View Full Version : Cloning and Infertility
If you were infertile and given the option to carry a cloned embryo, would you do it? Why or why not.

No, I would not. If I was unable to conceive for one reason or another, I would look into adopting. This would not be an option I would choose, but I would not take the option away from someone else.

I can't really say for sure what I would do but I doubt I would.
I agree with RogueAngel on this one.

No, because, ethically, I am against human cloning.

No on the same token I would not carry another mans sperm with my egg. If I needed to go that far I would adopt instead. I dont like the idea of Cloning and I am not sure why, it just seems off and odd and touches a nerve for me. So I am sure I would not feel great about carrying a cloned child/person.

Nope, no way, no how. I am in the I would adopt group. I am also in the I am completely against cloning group. It also bothers me.

I probably would but it would have to be valid science with the clone being viable. When the cloning news broke, this was the first thing that crossed my mind: how wonderful that infertile people would have another option available.
