CHICAGO - Cook County prosecutors say a 29-year-old man traveling with his mother desperately didn't want her to know he'd packed a sexual aid for their trip to Turkey. So he told security it was a bomb, officials said.
Madin Azad Amin was stopped by officials on Aug. 16 after guards found an object in his baggage that resembled a grenade, prosecutors said.
When officers asked him to identify it, Amin said it was a bomb, said Cook County Assistant State's Attorney Lorraine Scaduto.
He later told officials he'd lied about the item because his mother was nearby and he didn't want her to hear that it was part of a penis pump, Scaduto said.
He's been charged with felony disorderly conduct, said Andrew Conklin, a spokesman with the Cook County state's attorney's office.

^^^^^^^Ummmmmmmm yeah, generally if you tell security you have a bomb in a airport your going to get charged.

Let me explain...You see, we have these bad guys, they are called terrorists. They hate us and have been known to blow up planes full of innocent people. So generally if you say you have a bomb and your in an airport your going to get charged, whether or not your penis pump can explode or not.

Yes that was said in a sarcastic voice.

I'd understand him getting charged if he hade an actual bomb...but he didn't.

Maybe he didn't have an actual bomb but he TOLD them he did. THat means they had to take it seriously. They would have had to cordon off part (if not all) of the airport, delay flights, take all their usual security precautions, as part of a believable threat to national security. It would have cost the airlines as well as the tax payer a bomb (no pun intended). You bet your ass he should be charged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right.

Airport security really doesn't have much of a sense of humor. They don't find that kind of thing funny.

Airport security really doesn't have much of a sense of humor. They don't find that kind of thing funny. I don't think the general public would find that funny either.

This is really... disturbing. His mother must be one psycho biatch, or he must be really out there...
