Well yes and know. The last time I remeber we had anykind good Hurricane was Gloria in the 1980's. I was young and when I was seven in 1979 I was told a torando came through bradly airport( the main air port) and I guess iway way before I was even thought of there was a big one. But from what I understand because we live on hills and vally I guess takes the punch out it. really we usaully for the most part get the remnents.
Besides I live an hour away In CT Vally from the beach. Sometime like last night i saw lighting all around me. But it didn't come close to my house. Othere parts in enfield got clamered with rain. I like storms. I mean I am not a nut about like my father is. He use to take us in his Jeep and vidio tape lighting. He gave it up when the lighting struck a near by tree while he was vidio taping. :runaway:
