I'll say one word on why I chose RR, Reganomics.

I voted Bush Jr. High defecit, loss of soldiers that was totally unecessary, loss of jobs, high unemployment, just total dissatisfaction in our country as a whole.

Bush 41.....he was ineffectual on the domestic front. Used military action to prop up his approval ratings....

Clinton. Because he created an economic slump that our current President inherited. As well he diminished status of what it meant to be President.

Created an economic slump? I've always thought (and you've agreed with me in the past...) that Presidents recieve far more credit and blame for the state of the economy than they deserve....

Beyond that, Republicans controlled Congress for all but 2 years of Clinton's administration. Do they shoulder any of the blame?

Yes. In fact I feel that they shoulder most of the blame. As do the republican controlled congress while Bush has been in office. As did the democratic controlled congress while Reagan was in office.
