:p
Lets see where everyone stands!!
I'm a Republican so you can imagine who I'm voting for, duh, but I would be voting for him even if he wasn't the only choice for us Elephants. I think GWB has done an above average job with our country and I would love to see him president again. However if he gets beat by a Democrate I hope it is Clark. I think a military man would do a good job plus I like his platform and visions.
Who are you?

I'm being dead serious when I ask this...
How do you know? I mean, some of my beliefs are in line with the Democrats but then I find myself agreeing with the Republicans a lot. And I voted for Ralph Nader last time.
You know how Beliefnet has that "What religion are you?" quiz? Well is there one for "What Political Party are You?"?

I'm not registered in any party, but I also voted for Bush and plan on voting for him again! I think I do lean more to the Republican side usually.
April, there is a web site that will help you figure out what political affiliation you side with, but I'll have to search for it.
I am a staunch Republican.

I have no idea. I know I'm pro-choice which is liberal I think , but I think goverment programs needs a serious rehaul so they can't be misused so easily that I think is republican. Other things like trade embargos and wars I know very little about . I rarely watch the news.

I am a straight ticket Republican.

I have voted independent in the past but recently Republican.
I don't agree with everything GW plans to do ... especially with the illegals. That really chaps my ass. BUT I have to say that I agree more with him than I do with any of the Democrat candidates. So I really wish he were less of a 'centerist' and would stop trying to garner the votes of minorities that are never going to vote for him anyway. Our illegal issue is a huge deal to me, one of the biggest and this is not how I want it dealt with. I also think he's spending out the ass... he's the highest spending president to date. That is not what I want out of a President.

Neither? I vote for who I think is best for the job. What party they belong to doesn't sway me one way or another. Personally, I'd like to see all parties dissolved. I can't stand the back and forth "The Democrats did this, and the Republicans said that." It's ridiculous IMHO and doesn't do a thing for this country other than cause some serious problems. Issues that need solving don't get solved because of a bunch of nonsense.

I am a registered Libertarian. I vote my heart always. Sometimes my heart lies with the Democratic party, sometimes the Republican party, sometimes elsewhere. I do what I think is right irregardless.
I don't call either of them Donkeys or anything else derogatory. Personally I think political game playing is silly and a waste of time. It takes away focus from the real issues we should be focusing on.
I don't care who slept with who. I don't care who has personal problems. I don't even care about their educational level. I don't care about their political party affiliation. I care about their stance on issues and their ability to do their job.
Oh, and I agree with Rogue Angel :)

Democrats are sexy!
You never hear, "wow, what a great piece of elephant".

Republicans are smart, you never hear someone say, "what a dumb-elephant".
Just following the pun, don't take it seriously...lol

Ok, I found a quiz here http://www.self-gov.org/quiz.html and it says I'm a "centrist", that I'm a little left of center. Still looking for one that just says Democrat or Republican.

And according to this one, I am a Democrat since I gave a "Democrat" answer to 7 out of 10 questions.

I know it was a joke, I just think the constant belittling of each other between democrats and republicans is a silly waste of time and does nothing at all to foster respect for either side.

A silly waste of time? Do you actually think we are going to solve anything here? Be careful not to take yourself too seriously.
We have to be able to laugh at ourselves or we will go crazy. There was nothing disrespectful in those two joke posts.

Neither.
I vote for the best person for the Job. If it happens to be a Repugnantcan I will vote for them. If it happens to be a DemoRat I will vote for them. If it happens to be a third party candidate I will vote for them.

Well since I really have no idea what each party entails... I took both tests shown on the other page... The first one said i was a centrist. The one for Republican or Democrat said I was an independent. I guess I mix my views, so really I can't be anything but an independent.
