Vigilante justice

Someone commits a violant crime and is still at large. There is a good posability he/she will kill again.

Are you for or against vigilante justice in this scenerio? What about other scenerios?

I wouldn't have cared if the guy in GA didn't see tomorrow. When dh told me they found him, I was kind of disappointed that he was still alive. All I can think about is how horrible the families of his victims must feel.

This is the exact case I was thinking of when I started this topic.

I am not for killing anyone however detaining someone is totally accpetable IMO. I can totally justify a group of people holding someone like this till the police arrive.
